The Challenge: The client was purchasing a property from a family member with a gifted deposit. Additionally, the property required some minor modernisation before it could be rented out, which would take up to three weeks.
The Solution: We submitted the case to one of our lenders and successfully obtained approval for the gifted deposit and property condition. We managed to arrange the mortgage while the client was renovating the property. Once the renovation was complete and the property ready for tenants, we instructed a valuation, resulting in a quick completion of the Buy-to-Let mortgage.
